Results of local elections in Charnwood
Local elections have taken place in Charnwood.
Charnwood Borough Council has 52 councillors across 24 wards and all seats were up for election on Thursday May 4.
Votes for the elections were counted at Loughborough Leisure Centre on Friday May 5.
Following the count, the political make-up of the Council is as follows:
23 Conservative
20 Labour
8 Green
1 Independent
Town council elections also took place in Shepshed.
