I hereby give notice that a meeting of the Parish Council of the above named Parish will be held at the Memorial Hall, Anstey Lane, Thurcaston on Monday 21st March 2022 at 6.45pm

and resolving the business to be transacted at the Meeting as set out hereunder.

AGENDA
1. Apologies for absence
2 To receive any Declarations of Interest and requests for dispensations if any.
3. To approve and sign minutes of Parish Council meeting held on 21st February 2022
4. Public Participation – The Council meeting will be adjourned at this point for a period not exceeding 15
minutes to allow members of the public to ask questions on items listed on the agenda.
5. Parish Councillors Reports on meetings they have attended as Parish Council representatives.
6. Borough and County Councillor’s reports if any.
7. Clerks Report.
8. Neighbourhood Plan. – To consider reviewing the Thurcaston & Cropston Neighbourhood plan in light of recent
information from Charnwood Borough Council.
9. Memorial Hall Trustee’s – to consider date and time for Trustee’s meeting.
10. To consider information from Zurich Insurance regarding valuation of Memorial Hall and valuation of Sandham
Bridge and the Mill Race/Sheepwash bridge.
11. Film Night – to receive film night report for March film 1917 and to consider quotation for new Projector.
12. To consider requests from organisations such as Virgin Media and Gocompare to add their information onto
the Parish Councils website under Useful Information.
13. To consider replacing or removing broken fencing at front of cemetery on Leicester Road, Cropston.
14. Financial
a) To approve payments for February 2022 and to receive receipts for February 2022
b) To approve Bank Reconciliation.
c) To consider quotation for Tree and planting in Jubilee Park for the Queens Platinum Jubilee.
d) To approve purchase of Register of Purchase Graves for burial of coffins in new part of cemetery.
