CHARGES AND CONDITIONS for interment in any part of Thurcaston and Cropston Cemetery.
For exclusive right of burial PLOT PURCHASE.
2.1 for the exclusive right of burial.
(1) Class B £2,500
(2) Class C Ashes only £1,500
Coffin burial interments
1.1 of the body of still-born child or of a child who at the time of death had not attained the age of 12 years.
1.2 of the body of a child who at the time of death was aged 12 years but had not attained the age of 18 years.
1.3 of the body of a person who at the time of death was 18 years and over.
1.4 Cremated remains
(a) (under eighteen years of age) = no charge
(b) (18 years and over) = £290
HEADSTONES, FLATSTONE, TABLETS AND MEMORIAL INSCRIPTIONS.
For the right to erect or place on a grave in respect of which the exclusive right of burial has been granted.
3.1 A headstone, flat stone, or tablet
Class B = £180 Class C = £100
3.2 Additional inscription (after the first) Class B = £44 Class C = £44
(a) Single Adult/child grave £140
4.2 Administration Fee £65
RESIDENTS definition of:
Where the person to be interred or in respect of whom the exclusive right of burial was granted was, or not less than 28 days before his/her death had been, an inhabitant or community charge payer of Thurcaston and Cropston.
As regards a person who dies in a hospital or in care, outside of Thurcaston and Cropston, where immediately prior to hospitalisation such person had been an inhabitant or community charge payer of Thurcaston and Cropston, then the 28 day qualification period is extended to 5 years, or such period as permitted by the Burial Authority.
Whereby a resident who has purchased a Deed for a grave space and has subsequently moved away from the Parish, a non-resident fee will apply for interment.
