Work is almost complete now on the Mill Race Bridge restoration project.
Cllr Matt Green yesterday built the “bug hotel” from the branches of the Willow Tree that was removed from the pond in the early stages of the restoration.

The Thurcaston and Cropston Parish Councils Open Spaces Committee chaired by Cllr Sue Graham started this project in February 2022
